Well, Christmas has come and gone. I now have a new addiction. I got World of Warcraft and have been playing that quite a bit. For those that haven't heard of it, it's an online role playing game. Basically, it's a large community of people playing the same game at the same time. It's really cool. For those that do know, I have a character in the Silver Hand realm named Seekelm.

Have a Happy New Year.

First off, congratulations to the San Diego Chargers for making it to the playoffs and winning the AFC West Division. I've been a long time Charger fan, but they rarely make it very far.

School is now done and grades have been submitted. I can rest for a couple of seconds now. Now I have to start getting ready for next semester. I've changed books in the "Linux System Administrattion" course, so I have to rewrite all of my Powerpoint slides and other material. I need to change the book in the "Intro to Linux" class too, but I can't handle rewriting all of the material for two classes at the same time. Intro will have to wait until the fall semester.

It's almost Christmas and I haven't bought any presents. I only have to really get one for Melanie. She pretty much takes care of the rest of them. Just have to think of something to get now. It'll come to me sooner or later, although I would prefer sooner so that I don't have to brave the Christmas Eve crowds.

I've been incredibly busy these past couple of months. Hopefully things are starting to wind down a little. School will be finished tomorrow night and then I have a month before it starts back up again.

So many things to write about...

First and foremost, if you run a Windows operating system and you haven't been to Windows Update lately, go soon. MS is supposed to be releasing another 5 security bulletins today. There are probably quite a few that people haven't installed.

I've also been using the new version of Firefox. That's the web browser from the Mozilla organization. I've really grown to like it. It seems to be very easy to use and has all of the features that I liked in Opera. I've noticed that it seems to work better with alot of sites than Opera did. I've also been using Mozilla's Thunderbird 1.0 to read my RSS feeds, since I switched from Opera to Firefox. I didn't care for the RSS reader extension for Firefox.

For those of you that use Linux, Fedora Core 3 has been released. I've installed it a couple of times and it seems to have a few new features in it. The new version of KDE is great. I see the that KDE 3.3.2 was just released last week. As soon as the RPMs are released on Sourceforge, I'll get those installed too.

Ok, that's enough for now. Somehow I'll get myself on a schedule to update more often. (:
