I just realized that I hadn't put anything out here in a couple of days. We are still unpacking boxes and rearranging things in the new house. I'm still a little bitter about the lack of high speed Internet services. (:

It seems that there is a pretty big sinkhole problem on our side of town. Two more opened up yesterday, which make like 3 in just this week. Certainly nothing like the fires in California, but still a little disturbing.

I used to live near where the fires are. I've seen images from Poway High School that show the smoke not to far away. Scary to think if that had been Dad's last station and he didn't find a job here.

Well, we are finally moved. I should say that the boxes are all at the new house now. They may not be unpacked, but they are there. (:

I haven't updated things lately because we've been busy moving and I didn't have a Net connection for the first part of the week.

I'll get some new pictures and post them now that we have grass.

The move has begun. We took a lot of the boxes over to the new house. It turns out that there are still alot of things here that we didn't move today. The movers are coming bright and early to move the furniture. Hopefully it won't take to long.

Well, off to bed so I can get up early.

I always told myself when I was in school that I wouldn't take a job where I had to do a lot of writing. Now I've taken a job where almost all that I do is write policies and procedures. It's not all bad though. I do get to work with new technologies and I get to pick which direction in IT our division should take.

Only a couple more days until we move.

We had our walkthrough today. There were a few minor problems, but overall it looks good. We settle on Monday. I'm pretty excited and wish we were already done. (:

Soon, very soon.

There is a new email out purporting to be from Microsoft. This comes with an attachment claiming to be the latest security patch. Do not install it. MS never sends patches through email. Ever. Always go to Windows Update for any Windows updates.

The move is getting closer. We have our final walkthrough on Wednesday and settlement will be on Monday the 13th.
